The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business relationships, growing business with existing clients and creating qualified opportunities to achieve KPI targets aligned to the BSV strategic plans.
Responsible for achieving daily prospecting that will includes cold phone calls, warm phone calls, networking, etc.
Work with marketing to define lead generation strategies
Lead follow-up and establishing key relationships to support long sales cycle
Work with leadership team to develop sales strategies and plans to increase opportunities aligned to BSV services strategy
Build an extensive network and client list that includes potential partners in medical device and life science industry
Achieve revenue targets via networking into new client accounts by leveraging existing relationships, targeted account planning, prospecting efforts, and marketing initiatives.
Maintain commercial awareness of both the client’s business, potential clients, and industry trends.
Build, maintain, and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
Maintain sales activities goals, lead generation, opportunity pipeline progress, forecasting via SalesForce.
Provide sales reporting
Lead negotiations on terms of business and pricing
Contributor of strategic partnership initiatives with businesses with ongoing mutual opportunities
Work with Marketing to plan, prepare for and conduct sales pitches
Manage conversion activities and provide proposal feedback
Review statement of work prior to presenting to ensure it meets the needs stated by the client
Ensure conversion team is effectively briefed on all aspects of the proposal including client costs, concerns, conflicts, strategy, etc.
Participate in regular project meetings and milestone meetings as the client advocate
Continual improvement of BSV sales processes
Performs other related duties as assigned by management and commensurate with your skills and experience

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Prolong periods of standing at tradeshow or walking tradeshow floor.
